Thank you to everyone for coming to the 48th Annual Buttered Corn Days Celebration!
A huge thank you goes to all the volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly, the sponsors who make this celebration possible, and to the community of Sleepy Eye and all the visitors of Corn Days - thank you for sharing the day with us!  We appreciate the continued support you bring to this event year after year!
 
Fun Corn Day Facts for Friday, August 21 & Saturday, August 22:
* 6.5 tons of corn were cooked and served
* 330 lbs. of butter was used
* 1724 hamburgers were grilled and served
* 130 hotdogs were grilled and served
* 150+ lbs. of onions were fried and served with hamburgers
* 3 kegs of beer were tapped and served
* 4 kegs of rootbeer were tapped and served
* 78 pies were cut and served
* 14 pails of ice cream were used on pies or rootbeer floats
* 424 runners, bikers & walkers from 10 states competed in the Tour de Corn bike ride,
               5K/10K/20K runs and walks on Saturday
