Welcome to the Sleepy Eye Area Chamber of Commerce!
 
The Sleepy Eye Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Retail Association and the Convention & Visitors Bureau, welcome you to our small, south central Minnesota community.
 
Sleepy Eye is famous for:  Sleepy Eye is the only city in the work this name; the Sleepy Eye Milling Company back in the early 1900's; Sleepy Eye Pottery is highly sough after among antique collectors; and Charles Schultz named his Peanuts "Linus" character after Sleepy Eye native Linus Maurer.
 
Sleepy Eye is proud to be the home of excellent businesses, industries and services to include the largest promotional calendar producer in North America, Bic APP's printing/paper produces the Norwood line of promotional calendars as well as the BIC Graphic line of adhesive and non-adhesive Sticky Notes;  Del Monte Foods which is the highest volume producer of peas and corns for Del Monte Foods; Christensen Farms is one of the largest producers of pork in the United States; Sleepy Eye Stained Glass is the largest specialty stained glass shop between Michigan and Montana; Mark Thomas Company has provided quality funeral products to funeral homes across the United States for over 20 years and Mathiowetz Construction Co., which prides themselves on nearly 90 years of safe, quality construction projects building roads in Southern Minnesota which connects us all.

2012 Pot 'O Gold Winners Jeannie Ream, Derek Fast, Jody Gollnick & Caleb,

& Gina Daly & Isabella.  They were awarded $100 in Chamber Certificates.

The "gold" was found on the new look-out tower at Sportsman's Park.
